The Future Is NOW

Has this year not been crazy enough already? Are you ready for some more cRaZY?! Robert W. Ross has just released a new book, in a NEW SERIES! I had the pleasure of being able to narrate the first book Trinity’s Children of the Paradigm 2045 series by author Robert W. Ross. In this new series, Ross ventures into the near future Sci-fy genre for the first time. I am here to tell you, Internet, he did NOT disappoint. The clock is ticking for humanity’s survival and it is up to one woman, Charlotte Omandi, to pull together a very disparate and diverse crew to save life on earth as we know it. The Trinity nuclear test in 1945 caught the eye of watchers from the stars and the Doomsday clock began its countdown. In the year 2045, the clock is just about to strike midnight, and when that bell tolls, the end of humanity will come about unless Omandi and her crew can prove to the celestial watchers that we are worthy of being a part of the galactic society.
Ross uses a fantastic mixture of hard science knowledge with a touch of Handwavium to bring readers into the plausible near future of science fiction without completely losing those of us who may not have passed Advanced Astrophysics. He includes the banter that I so love and appreciate from his Sentinels series into Paradigm with even more flare as the core of this story is a cast of characters from all over the globe. It really gave me a chance to stretch my acting muscles with rapid fire dialogue between a Russian Hitwoman; a swaggering Irish getaway driver; a frazzled Hindi Engineering Officer; an eccentric, billionaire (make that trillionaire), AI holographic, memory fragment; and the Kenyan entrepreneur wunderkind who will bring them all together and become their Captain. Oh, and there are aliens too!
